Job description:

 Responsibilities

-         To prepare technical specifications and Bill of Quantities for the installation of Fire fighting systems, electrical system earthing and water supply within the hospitals

-         To lead the technical evaluation of the offers received from the potential contractors;

-         To assist CISP in the preparation of the works contract with the selected contractor;

-         To regularly supervise the implementation of the rehabilitation works providing CISP with updated information on the progress of works and propose solutions to any technical problem that might arise;

-         To prepare written reports assessing the contractors progress statements and his requests of interim payments;

-         To prepare a written report for the Provisional acceptance of works and the Final acceptance of works;

Qualifications and skills

-         University degree in electromechanical or civil engineering

-         Works sites experience

-         Computer skills in technical drawing

-         Excellent knowledge of English and Arabic languages, both oral and written.

-         Driver’s license

-         Experience in working with national/international NGOs and previous work with/for Palestinian refugee communities is an advantage.

-         Open minded person able to work in different cultural environments

Commencement: immediately after selection
