Responsibilities and Tasks

• Conduct field and desk review on the country’s state of ICT
• Identify gender gaps in ICT usage
• Document and review various IT development initiatives presently being carried out by the government, private and NGO sectors
• Attend workshops, meetings and conferences held by the LDG
• Conduct ICT related presentations, workshops and speeches for the LDG
• Produce a current and up-to-date e-readiness report for Lebanon.

Needed Skills

• Proven ability to carry out field and desk research
• Strong command of the English language
• Excellent writing skills
• Experience in producing reports and papers
• Well built knowledge of the various ICT technologies and their appropriate terms
• Sufficient knowledge of the policies and infrastructure surrounding ICTs in Lebanon
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with development sensitive issues
• Ability to work within a team

Terms

• The position is offered on a consultancy task basis
• The task is expected to require around 30 working days spread over a period of several months
• No strict office hours are required
