Four sub-committees were instituted in addition to the standing committee:

 · Education, Training and History 
 · Health, social affairs and development 
 · Media, communication and culture

Focal areas of interest

· Economics: efforts to reach out to women with disabilities through social and vocational integration. 
· Education: establishment of a Higher Council for Education
· Family: Establishment of a National Committee To Protect And Empower The Family. 
· Health: (1) Dissemination of Family Planning, Reproductive Health, and Occupational Health; (2) Assigning physicians and experts to work in remote areas. (3) Mandating premarital medical examination.
