Workshop Reports 

Dear Visitor,

In line with the on-going training and capacity building initiatives undertaken by the MACHREQ/MAGHREB Gender Linking and Information Project (MACMAG GLIP) we would like to inform you that many Regional In-Country Training Workshops have been organized and supported by MACMAG GLIP. The Regional Training Workshops relied on process-oriented and participatory methods, promoting a chain of critical analysis, reflection, learning and development of action-oriented strategies. The participatory methodology made use of group dynamics, exchanging experiences, reflections, inputs, group work and simulation. The participants, who represented regional as well as local NGOs and other concerned entities and organizations, were very much actively involved in all sections of the workshop, exerting significant input in all focus areas and themes.

• "Local Gender-Orientation Workshop", held in Iraqi Kurdistan in July 2000.
